Plan of Engagement During Covid-19

Boy, that escalated quickly!

- Ron Burgundy

Okay, okay, I realize that this is no laughing matter. But if you can use humor to get through tough times, what else can you do? So, here we are, in the midst of a pandemic. I'm not going to lie. I've been fighting back anxiety and fear, as I'm sure you have, too. This is serious. As the days have marched on and more bad news has flooded our new streams, I must say that I have heard amazing stories of kindness and selflessness, too. Locally and all over the world as we humans do our very best to keep it together for ourselves and for our loved ones. I wanted to keep you updated on the things I plan to do as this pandemic continues.

DONATE SOAP. Soap is literally one of our most powerful weapons against this disease right now. It's more powerful than sanitizer, even. Since our homeless and marginalized communities are at great risk, I have committed to sending regular donations of soap to shelters here in Providence, Rhode Island. It feels good to be able to make a difference in this way and I am happy to serve my fellow Rhode Islanders.

OFFER A DEEP DISCOUNT. When this started, I immediately launched a 4 Bar Bundle product. I know that a lot of you are uncertain about your financial futures and honestly, you might not even be in a position to buy handmade soap right now. Please know that I completely understand. Many of you, however, have been keeping me very busy filling orders. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! I will continue to offer the 4 Bar Bundle until our uncertain times are over. When will that be? I have no idea. In the mean time, please enjoy this offer. It is over 30% off the regular price of each bar.

KEEP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. At first, I wasn't sure how to proceed with my business. However, now that we've been living with our "new normal" for a bit, I think it's still a good idea to offer new things. I will continue to launch my seasonal collections and try to spread as much cheer, kindness and happiness that I can.

I love you guys. I know that we will get through this together. Your messages of encouragement and your support continue to amaze me. I will update you as soon as I have information about markets and shows. I can't tell you how much I miss being out there. It's killing me not knowing when it's going to be safe to go out. But when it is, and we have the green light, you will be the first to know. Stay safe. Stay kind. Find joy in every day.
